Did you know that France's Eiffel Tower grows by more than six inches in summer due to the expansion of the iron on hot days? Here at Centre High School we may not have an Eiffel Tower but we do have summer Break coming up in a total of 6 days for the student body, and 3 days for the senior class. I would like to reflect on all the good things that have happened throughout the school year of 2014-2015 in the following list: FFA National Convention, play tryouts, Sub-state / State basketball, FBLA Week, Counselors week, Fall / Spring Homecoming, Poultry judging, Spirit week, FFA week, FFA work auction, Centre’s Invitational forensics meet, FFA Blood drive, Grease, National Honor Society field trip, Fort Riley Soldiers visits, last but not least was community service day. All these things that I have listed in the above sentence are things that have made our community come together and grow with each other as one. The best part of our communities coming together is that it makes our school district more like a family and less like strangers all in the same place at the same time.
Sincerely,
Taylor Peterson
